Mauryn Jonkhout focuses on all aspects within personal and family law. He is empathetic, critical, and driven to find the right solution in a complex case.
Mauryn obtained his degree in Law in Groningen, after which he specialised further in personal and family law at Leiden University. Mauryn has undertaken extensive research into legal cases in which spouses or partners disagree on arrangements concluded in nuptial agreements or partnership agreements.
Before joining SmeetsGijbels, Mauryn gained experience in various legal roles at commercial businesses and in the legal profession. In June 2022, Mauryn joined SmeetsGijbels as a legal assistant. Since January 2023, he has been a lawyer at SmeetsGijbels.
