Cherine van der Ploeg deals with all aspects of personal and family law. She is accessible, committed and assesses cases with a sharp, analytical and people-oriented approach.
Na het behalen van haar bachelor (in de afstudeerrichtingen Rechtsgeleerdheid en International Business Communication) aan de Erasmus Universiteit Rotterdam, heeft Cherine in 2024 de master Privaatrecht afgerond aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Tijdens haar studie verdiepte zij zich onder meer in het relatievermogensrecht en het internationaal privaatrecht.
Cherine joined SmeetsGijbels in 2024, initially as a legal assistant and now as a lawyer. During her studies, Cherine was active in the programme committee of her master's programme and volunteered for the Rotterdam Legal Aid Foundation.
