Mieke Schuijt is involved with every facet of personal and family law. Thanks to the experience she has gained both inside and outside the legal profession, Mieke is now a strongly analytical and result-oriented lawyer. She has an outstanding sense of empathy and a clear view of the interests of all relevant parties.
Mieke obtained her Master’s degree in Juvenile Law from Leiden University in early 2014. In the summer of the same year, she completed a second Master’s degree at the University of Amsterdam. Mieke started working as a lawyer in Haarlem in 2015. In 2019, she moved to science and she was employed as a lecturer in Private Law at Utrecht University. She lectured there with a focus on family law, juvenile law, and procedural law. However, her heart lies in the legal profession, to which she returned on 1 February 2022.
